Check Course Dates Below For Upcoming Courses

I’m delighted you are considering taking one of my courses! Weekend courses are run at Cardinal Newman School, Hove and week day courses at Southwick Community Centre, Southwick, West Sussex. I offer a range of short creative courses, some one day workshops as well my  City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate and Diploma Patchwork and Quilting. Each of these courses are spread over two years.

This year I am enrolling for the Certificate course for two week days a month and the Diploma course as a one weekend a month for 8 months thats 16 sessions in all plus a fantastic one week summer school to complete the year for each course.

At the Festival of Quilts 2018 once again two of our students were juried into the City & Guilds Quilters Guild Bursary Award Gallery. Kerry Crofton and Hillary Manson received very favourable comments from the judges about their work and it was a great opportunity for them to exhibit their work for so many visitors to see.

The list of courses below is evolving so please pop back from time to time as new short courses are added. The best way to stay up to date with courses as they are added is to subscribe to my newsletter.

If you are interested in this course you can view student work and find out information, on our dedicated page for City and Guilds Level 3 in Patchwork and Quilting.

Students who have taken this course have enjoyed creating their own original fabrics by dyeing and printing, learning about Batik and discharge dyeing.  They have had the satisfaction of developing their own design ideas in response to individual research and enjoyed the challenge of exploring techniques for their potential. One of the great benefits of working in a group is being in a creative and supportive atmosphere.
