Welcome to Brighton Fashion and Textile School
I established BFaTS to provide structured courses of learning for students who want to work towards accreditation in textiles. I am a qualified experienced tutor and we are an approved centre by City and Guilds.
See the fabulous work by students graduating from last years City & Guilds Certificate and Diploma Courses in the Student graduation gallery 2020.
The annual student Graduation Exhibition at The Regency Town House, Brunswick Square, Hove, East Sussex has been postponed until 23rd – 25th July 2021 when we hope for better times.
Students have started this year with all the enthusiam that every new year starts. Despite most classes being online we are all determined to make the experience as good as we can. We now have an overhead camera to allow clear view for demonstrations of techniques. Images are shared on screen using power point and we have specialist lighting. We can swap between cameras to provide different angles.
We know that sharing the learning experience with others is important and we will make every effort to facilitate that as far as current situation allows. Judging by the lively group chats in my current classes I think a community atmosphere is more than possible online.
So if you you would like to enrol for either the Certificate or Diploma course 2021 go to the City & Guilds courses page for more information.
